Songes and Sparrows
A collaboration between mediums with Najeebah Al-Ghadban. Songes and Sparrows explores the language of fluid line, in ink and in foil, as a means of extracting disillusion from image. In gold. In silver.
Mârr is an audio-visual collection of food memoirs from the Eastern Mediterranean. Mârr is a story driven, quarterly digital journal that features 5 people for each issue. Each food memoir that is gathered from the interviews are visualized by photographic illustrations.
Thoughts were thought under the direction of Aaron Wheeler. Promo video's director of photography is Zeynep Ilgaz Zencirci. Motion bits were done with the kind help of Najeebah Al-Ghadban.
NQ's is a bakery located in Kuwait City that specializes in artisanal cakes and pastries.
Art direction, pattern design, photography is done by Kibele Yarman. Logo design and direction is done by Kibele Yarman and Mohammad Sharaf.

Grapebird is a jewelry studio that combines naturalistic symbols and stones in their pieces. They asked for a branding that reflected their attention to detail and their pastoral spirit.
The symbol for the brand integrates brand’s initial letter G with imagery that communicates their artistic philosophy. With intricate graphics and use of texture, we wanted to address their belief in the importance of meticulous craftsmanship.

I have come to realize that forgiving someone requires a change- either in the physical world or in my mind. Things in my mind, even though it doesn’t always look that way, are easier to control than the things in the physical world. Letter molds were made with the help of Tak Cheung, John Heida and Ali Emre Dogramaci.
Forgiveness was selected to be a part of SVA's Alumni After School Special Festival, September 2016.
